Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps review

I really liked it. Amazing soundtrack by David Byrne and Brian Eno! The performances and direction were top notch. Script wasn't my favorite, and I thought it could have been more clever in its twists and turns, but I still enjoyed it. 8/10. Go see it.

One thing I didn't like was the casting of Josh Brolin. He's way way way too young to be cast as the CEO of the world's most powerful hedge fund/bank. In the movie they call it Churchill Schwartz but it was based on Goldman Sachs.

Instead I would have cast Wallace Shawn. He can play ruthless characters and he's a very very good actor (remember him in Princess Bride?).

Here is Wallace at left, and the real life Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfien at right. See what I mean? Would have been p-e-r-f-e-c-t.
