Believe it or not this is not the biggest fire I've seen on my street. They had 188 firemen from 33 divisions fighting this. It was 90 degrees out as well - imagine just how hot it was near this. No word on the cause but word on the street is that the building did not have permits for construction - you know what that means. Reports of 8 firefighters injured. Hope you're OK guys.

Great job FDNY putting this fire out quickly. Fires can spread super fast in NY, which is why this went to a four alarm fire pretty quickly.
