...one hot summer night in NYC I was having heat-driven nightmares and I dreamt this building was a caterpillar, and after a few years, it would one day turn into a beautiful butterfly. I swear!
And so it has. Check it below. That's it now. That's a very pretty limestone building. Yah, so it's some Ralph Lauren Women's store. I'll obviously never go there, but I'm glad my favorite architects McKim Mead & White are still recognizing that beaux-arts buildings - even when they're faux-arts - are something to respect and behold. We need more beaux-arts in New York City!
