Never a huge sports fan, I do love college football and basketball - something about young mostly unpaid kids with a team spirit that gets to me. There is something neat about it - even if colleges today take this stuff way too seriously - it's all about the Benjamins today, sadly.

This Saturday October 9th, 2010, Michigan State will take on University of Michigan at the Big House. I usually watch every MSU game, but haven't had time this year. Since both teams are undefeated 5-0 I'm wondering if I should avoid this game as well.

Nah, I'm watching it!

Good luck to both teams, I have an enormous amount of respect for University of Michigan. As a kid in the 80's I was a tried and true Bo Schemblecer fan. After MSU started recruited more and more players from Flint, my allegiance switched.

U of M is a crown jewel for the state of Michigan, and one of the best schools in the country. But this is sports, and there can only be one winner.
