Pomodoro technique - in action
Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Usability & Design

Going to try this. It's called the pomodoro technique, and it involves:

1. decide on the task to be done
2. set the pomodoro (timer) to 25 minutes (download one here for free)
3. work on the task until the timer rings; record the task status
4. take a short break (5 minutes)
5. every four "pomodoros" take a longer break (15-20 minutes)

I'm gonna see if this works. Focusing is very hard in my line of work (User Experience Design) so I look to any tips and tricks to help!
