Better designed radio buttons

It’s not that radio buttons and dropdowns haven’t served us well for 20 years. They have. But they are tiny and not touch device friendly, and with new UI platforms like Twitter Bootstrap, they make little sense now.

Here are a series of “radio buttons” that I converted to touch buttons so they’ll work great on tablet/mobile. I designed the morning/afternoon/evening as well. I keep telling my engineers we need a visual vocabulary that doesn’t use words. Only recently did I discover I’m not alone in that.
