I’m a 1977 New York City blackout  enthusiast and collector (A photograph of me is featured in Wikipedia). The blackout of 1977 is arguably one of the most significant events of the 20th century, but that’s a story for another time.

Now that 2012 New York City Blackout (partial) is a memory, I revisited my 1977 Blackout memorabilia, and a lot of is eerily familar.

If its one thing about history, it has a habit of repeating itself.
